Ruby became a merchant because she wanted to help the people within the tunnels of the Metro without having to do much in terms of fighting. Following in her brother Jack’s footsteps on his path to be a trader, she took the opportunity to be able to work with him. She was inspired by her mother and father as well. She also just wants to make a living, and try to make her brother proud, doing anything possible. She also loves to make deals. Every new deal she makes she just feels a sudden sensation of happiness.

Character Backstory. (At least 2 paragraphs - Seven sentences per paragraph.)-

At a young age her parents were sadly slain by the monsters that roam the tunnels. She was raised by Jack, who taught her how to survive, and how to make do with whatever was available. She decided that she’d try to help everyone by becoming a merchant. Being very creative, she loves to think of new ways on how to solve the threat of bandits, but these ideas are usually impossible. Having a fear of bandits and separation of her brother has made her quite paranoid. She has occasional nightmares and often has trouble sleeping at night.
Despite these setbacks, Ruby has no trouble of being independent for roughly a minute before she freaks out, realizing her brother is not nearby. If her brother leaves for a long period of time, well, the result is a panic attack. However, she strives to be brave and hopes that one day she can overcome her fear, especially at the age of 19. Occasionally she’ll ask to be left alone for a bit, and each time that Jack does infact leave her alone she gets slightly less afraid of the tunnels.

Character Backstory. (At least 2 paragraphs - Seven sentences per paragraph.)-

Jack was born only a few year’s before the nuclear war was Initiated, Unfortunately his parent’s and him we’re on a tourist trip to Russia - On the day the nuke’s we’re fired, Unfortunately this forced them to retreat into the metro’s with the rest of the few that made it, He barely remember’s anything of the world before. After a couple of year’s - His sister was born, And their parent’s we’re killed, While they we’re still relatively young they ended up Being adopted by a man who wished to keep them safe, And taught them how to survive int he hellhole of the metro's.

After a couple of year’s - When Jack was in his Late teen’s, The man was sadly killed by Nosalis’s, Which prompted Jack to become his sister’s primary caretaker, Protecting her of course. He eventually adopted the Merchant life-style, Finding and selling junk, Buying it and selling it as well, He eventually came to aquire a Kalash, And a revolver (Which he promptly gifted his sister), As he traded the old junk he would find throughout the metro as they lived on, Protecting his sister with his life.


Note: Jack's backstory was written in an overdrive after finding out its coming in 1 hour (just finished now lmao)
