Special skills / Knowledge (Ex. Hand to Hand combat training, Advanced medical knowledge, etc.)- Shtov has extensive experience in military special operations, and due to this he has the skills most soldiers do, such as training with firearms and basic first aid. He also specialized in CQC during his military career, and due to this has a knack for CQC and CQB.

Character Reasoning for becoming one of the listed factions. (One Paragraph - Seven sentences. (This does not include civilian factions. Such as Dweller.)) Quote from Backstory:
Shtov spent the rest of his years in the Metro, scavenging and taking odd jobs to get by, most of them being combat oriented. Shtov eventually found himself taking an especially unsavory job, but one that paid well. He was tasked with clearing out a large Nosalis den. As he approached the den, he was ambushed by some of the beasts, and expended far more ammunition than he wished. Not wanting to fail his mission, however, Shtov pushed deeper into the den until he was swarmed by the monsters. As he began to run dry on ammo, a group of Rangers, attracted by the gunfire and screeches, approached, and helped Shtov narrowly avoid death. The Rangers, impressed by Shtov’s ability to fight, took him to Polis, where he met the Colonel, and expressed his interest in joining. Shtov claimed he wished to join for honorable or good causes, like helping Polis, but was truly interested solely in food and supplies.

The Colonel, agreeing that Shtov was capable, sent Shtov out on a Nosalis hunt with a squad of 7 more seasoned Rangers. Shtov survived, along with all but one of the Rangers, and displayed capability and bravery in the line of duty. With their mission complete, the squad returned to Polis, and the team leader met with the Colonel, where they discussed Shtov’s fate. After talking for what felt like hours but was truly maybe 20 minutes, the Colonel called Shtov into the office, and presented him with the patch that Rangers were to wear. Shtov accepted it, and with a grin on his face left the office, emerging as a Ranger of the Order.

Shtov operated within the Rangers for a few years, and achieved the rank of Junior Sergeant, which is equal to a United States E-3. Shtov was assigned to a 3 man team under the command of a man known as Kulya. Kulya, and the other man, who went by Sheets, were alright guys, and quickly became friends with Shtov. Assisting each other, they helped Kulya achieve the rank of Sergeant, and helped keep each other alive. The three were inseparable, and were model soldiers. It wasn’t until they were given an assignment that all three deemed undesirable that they considered going rogue. After many days of contemplation, the men agreed to desert, and secured themselves weapons, unmarked uniforms, and basic supplies. The men went to Kolomenskaya, and reached it after 5 days of almost nonstop walking, running, and shooting through the Metro. There, they decided to start a new life.

Character Backstory. (At least 2 paragraphs - Seven sentences per paragraph.)-    Shtov was born in Volgograd, a city once known as Stalingrad, on November 9th, 1984. His father was a lieutenant in the Soviet Military, whilst his mother was a stay at home mom, doing housework and cleaning. Due to this upbringing, Shtov was used to a very disciplined lifestyle. His father dreamed of the boy following in his footsteps, and joining the military. Shtov received a very minimalist education, and instead, spent most of his time playing sports or going on the move. Shtov adored his father, seeing him as a superhero, as most children do. His father also had the training, skills, and demeanor to fit that role, making him an essential role model in the young child’s life. Shtov’s role model, however, would not remain in his life forever.

When Shtov was a young child, his father was deployed into Afghanistan, in the Soviet Union’s last attempt to break the Mujahideen forces in the country. It was in Afghanistan where his father was killed by the Mujahideen fighters. While the child mourned, his mother was preparing to move to Ukraine, after receiving a job there. The two in mourning, moved into Ukraine, and began anew. Shtov, infuriated by his father’s death, used that as a “fuel” to motivate him. The boy, in anger, continued to neglect his education, barely passing by, and continued to focus on building himself up both mentally and physically. His father’s death pushed him into doing this even more intensely. After years of his training routines and lifestyle, he turned 17, and was physically fit. He enlisted into the Ukrainian Military in 2002.

Shtov excelled at CQC, and was noticed by his superiors for it. He soared through basic, and achieved the rank of Private First Class. He saw almost no action in his career, but eventually rose through the ranks, achieving the position of Staff Sergeant. After serving for 5 years, he transferred into a more specialized unit, Service "C" of the Security Service of Ukraine, or, the Alfa Group. He was sent into Alfa due to his phenomenal ability in CQC during drills and exercises, and his overall record. Alfa was a part of the Ukrainian Spetsnaz, specializing in counter terrorism operations, and CQC. Spooky had an extraordinary record in Alfa, and served there for years, until 2007, when he moved to Russia, looking to serve a more advanced military force.

Upon moving to Russia, after retiring from Alfa, Shtov enlisted into the Russian Army, and after 3 more years of service, tried out for the Spetsnaz. He managed to pass the training that Spetsnaz operators had to go through, thanks to his training in Alfa, and in 2009 was made a part of the Spetsnaz as a CQC specialist. In 2013, when the bombs were dropping on Moscow, Shtov was assigned to assist in evacuating civilians into the subways, and because of that eventually managed to get into the metro.
